Odds, Ends, Maintenance

We are nearing the end of the grading period, so today was “your kid may fail” emails. And parents love these! Haha. I sent emails to my J1 students who are failing or in danger of failing. I also have a couple of broadcast and photo students who are really behind. I sent emails to their parents as well. I asked them to help me get them caught up. I want the parents to feel like they are part of the process. I also spent time today doing all the little things that I don’t enjoy doing. So here’s the bullet list for today.

  • Parent Emails
  • Updated final exam for Journalism 1
  • Updated grades
  • Photo lens inventory
  • Cleaned out emails
  • Checked on sales and needed upcoming marketing materials
    • Last Chance Post Cards
    • Posters for school
    • Yard Signs for campus
  • Updated SpEd paperwork
  • Balanced activity fund with the bookkeeper
  • Set up a 40/40 plan for on campus sales
  • Dusted the office
