The Importance of Workshops

We attended Walsworth’s Elite Weekend this weekend. I can’t say enough good things about this workshop. The timing is perfect. There’s a lot of work time. Trainers help finalize plans. There is a lot of networking (or hanging out with my adviser friends). It’s only a 20-minute drive for us, but we stay the night. That’s the magic. That’s when these kids get to know each other and grow respect. This year was super special. I’m not sure why, but even my kids felt it. They even had a group hug before we left. It’s not just Elite Weekends. Summer workshops are vital. Weekend workshops and training. TAJE or JEA conventions. ILPC in the spring. All of these are so important. They are a lot of work to plan for, but well worth the time and money.

Here’s a preview of our cover.
