In Journalism 1, we are still learning about photography. But I think it’s important to consistently teach writing. So during the six weeks, this photography unit, I have the students read Bobby Hawthorne’s Radical Write. I have a module in canvas that is a read along so they’re answering questions as they read. I love Bobby’s book because it has great examples and reiterates what I have taught in class. Bobby also came out with a book called Copy That which is also a short quick read as a resource.
I was out of class today for a meeting, so this was easy for the sub to assign and monitor.
